I didn't find it possible to hit the tank and
no I didn't put the housings on the test piece. I guess you are right there, I did only have a little space between the bar and the tank at full turn so the housings would probably hit the tank. So I'm thinkin if you used a flat bar long enough to put the housings out beyond the tank it might work. I'm just gonna use a bar with a small rise in it.
